About Ironworkers

The International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental and Reinforcing Iron Workers is a union in the United States and Canada, which represents, trains and protects primarily construction workers, as well as shipbuilding and metal fabrication employees.

Iron work is a skilled craft that dates back to the late 19th century and is a result of the rapid rise in the use of modern steel in iron bridges and skyscrapers. The Ironworkers offer a 4 year apprenticeship program to ensure our members are highly skilled and qualified to be as productive as possible. We are extremely dedicated to the success and growth of our local as we continue to do everyday.
